Remembrance Display

To mark the centenary of the end of WWI, the whole school from EYFS to Year6, collaborated to create our Remembrance Day display.

This fantastic remembrance display is the result of a whole school effort, whereby each class made a selection of poppies to mark the centenary of WWI. The children used a variety of different art skills to create their poppies and helped put up the display. Thanks to Madame Benton we also have the French equivalent 'Le Bleuet de France' which used to grow in France, and like the poppy is a symbol of remembrance. The children, staff and builders also took part in a minutes silence today, to commemorate Remembrance Day.
