On Thursday 8th July 2021, pupils and adults of the Hillcrest family took part in an amazing sponsored run in aid of Cancer Research UK and the Friends of Hillcrest.

It is exciting to be able to plan for a whole-school charitable fundraiser after so much time keeping such events off the calendar because of Covid.
Hillcrest will be hosting its very own Race for Life event on Thursday 8th July. A ¾ mile loop around the school grounds has been created which begins on the school field and takes in the woodland area, crosses the car park, skirts around the edge of the Reception and KS1 playgrounds, passes through the sensory garden and amphitheatre, before crossing the KS2 playground and finishing back on the school field.
