The visual element to learning is a key part of our ethos.  As you walk around Hillcrest, you will experience a bright and vibrant learning environment where pupils’ knowledge and evolving learning is clearly evident.  During the first week of a new area of study, each class will focus on discovering new concepts and ideas for the Art curriculum.  Pupils experience various new artistic tools, ideas and techniques, then utilise them to bring their current quality text to life.  Famous and influential artists are studied and their work used as inspiration.  Our display work has been recognised by Norfolk County Council Advisors and we have given input at a teachers’ training course on inspirational displays.
