Volunteering at Hillcrest

At Hillcrest, we believe that every contribution counts. There are lots of ways you can support our school and you don't need to be a teacher or have lots of spare time to make a difference!

Whether you can offer an hour, share a particular skill, help at an event or support a project, we'd love to hear from you.

There are many ways to get involved, including:

  • School trips: Come along on visits and help children explore and learn.

  • In the classroom: Listen to children read, practise times tables or support practical activities.

  • Friends of Hillcrest (PTA): Help organise events, raise funds and bring our community together.

  • Outdoor spaces: Help us care for our pond, allotment and Forest School areas.

  • Share your skills: Tell us about your job, hobby or interests, or help run a workshop or activity.

  • Enrichment and events: Support clubs, performances, sports days and special celebrations.

  • Donations and sponsorship: Offer useful resources, equipment or support for school projects.

Interested in getting involved?

Complete our short Hillcrest Hub volunteering form to tell us a little about yourself, your interests and how you might like to help. Whether you can offer regular support or just the occasional helping hand, we'll be in touch to explore opportunities that work for you.

All volunteering opportunities are arranged through school, and appropriate checks and guidance will be completed before you begin.

Together, we can make a real difference to our children's experiences and opportunities.
